What’s Included in the Reptile Show
Each reptile show comes complete with a wide variety of native reptiles and all required equipment for a safe, hands-on experience. Depending on the format and length of your booking, participants may meet olive pythons, Stimpson python, pygmy python, southwest carpet python, black-headed python, woma python, blue-tongue lizards, frilled neck lizard, bearded dragons, shinglebacks and long-neck turtles.
The setup includes safe display enclosures, handwashing stations, and guided reptile petting under close supervision. Sessions are offered in 1-hour, 1.5-hour, 2-hour or full-day formats to accommodate group sizes. We can rotate groups efficiently for larger schools or public events. Our presenters provide engaging facts about each species, touching on topics like adaptations, habitats, diet and ecological roles. For schools, we include a free teacher resource pack aligned with Years K–6, featuring curriculum-based worksheets and extension activities.

- Is this suitable for all primary school year levels?
Yes. Our reptile incursions are tailored for children in Kindergarten through Year 6, with presentation style adjusted for age and learning stage.
- How many students can attend a session?We recommend up to 25-30 students per session to ensure there is plenty of time for hands on per student. For larger groups, we rotate students in manageable sessions throughout the booking period.
- Do the children get to touch the reptiles?Yes. Supervised reptile petting is part of the experience. Our staff ensure all handling is safe and appropriate to both animals and participants.
- What safety precautions do you take?All animals are handled by trained staff. We provide full supervision, handwashing facilities and ensure enclosures are always secure.
- Can you bring the reptile show to public events?Absolutely. Our live reptile displays are available for agricultural shows, community festivals and environmental events across WA. These can be setup in our 3×6 metre gazebo’s.
