Ocean Displays (Schools & Events)
Discover Marine Wonders with Our Ocean Displays
Dive into the world of marine life with Critters Up Close’s interactive ocean display, designed specifically for schools, libraries and community events. This unique experience brings the richness of Australia’s marine biodiversity directly into the classroom or event space. Participants will explore species from rock pools, reefs and deeper ocean environments through engaging, age-appropriate presentations. Whether it’s a themed science week or environmental awareness campaign, our displays offer an immersive and memorable encounter with the sea.
What’s Included in the Ocean Classroom Experience
Depending on your show our ocean classroom display may include a curated selection of marine animals such as sea stars, hermit crabs, lionfish, marine fish, baby shark and coral. Depending on your booking, we offer mini marine tanks or full-scale touch pools, all professionally managed with safe, enclosed setups.
Our educators deliver tailored presentations covering marine ecosystems, sustainability, food chains and the impact of human activity on ocean life. We bring all equipment, including water filtration systems and display signage, and provide setup for indoor or shaded outdoor environments. Sessions can range from short classroom displays to full-day activations at larger events.
Why Educators and Events Choose Our Displays
Our ocean display is designed to be both educational and accessible, providing hands-on learning for students and the public alike. It complements science and environmental curricula and encourages students to think critically about marine conservation and habitat protection.
Schools benefit from having real-world content delivered without the need for excursions, while events appreciate the visual appeal and family engagement our setups provide. The ocean classroom display is suitable for all ages and ideal for educators looking to inspire environmental curiosity through interaction and exploration.
